Funk Jam Vol.1 2010 !!!

Actually I'm planning to write this article earlier
But I'm lazy.. lazy.. lazy..
Funk Jam was 1 week ago already
Time passing so fast, lol


I'm still remember
Last friday, me took bus went Kampar from Ipoh
After finished working
Because me wanna find Raizo to practice our routine,freestyle


Saturday morning, we took bus again, going to KL
Arrived Bukit Jalil about 12pm
After check in at SS2 MyHome Hotel
We tried to take a taxi go the destination

Kompleks Rakan Muda Bukit Kiara

But we really didn't expect the venue is hard to find
Even some of the taxi drivers don't know how to go there
LOL
But finally we reached at there about 2.30pm
Kar Kheng & Raydio Dancers were already at there
I'm quite like this place
It's a skate park

Around 5.30PM
After the 2 locking workshop
finally turn to Popping Workshop of Raymond & Robin
Learned many things this time :

Shift Way, Swing, Groove, Feel, Change Level etc

We got also asked some question about Roll, Groove, Feel..
Thanks Robin & Raymond's Explaination !

1st day was ended.
After sleep.. sleep.. zZZ
We woke up on next day 11pm
We prepared to go there again after having lunch
Raydio dancers were already at there
They are quite earlier ^ ^
Next are lockers from singapore
They were preparing for the battle, practicing routines
Aga teacher from Taiwan came support the event too : D
We can saw that many people came today
And we keep nervous-ing too, haha



After the locking audiiton
it's time for the popping ballot
Four our crew, me get no.1
Lucky or unlucky ? LOL

Seriously, this time my performance was half good half bad
In my opinion
This time I didn't nervous as before
But I still didn't "apply" Walk Out, Flex ..
Although lost at 1st round
But we really receive many comments & advices
The only thing we can do is KEEP PRACTICING


In the whole event
Myself really enjoy it
Dope Poppers Dope Lockers
I believe that malaysia's funk style will keep improving
Hope that Funk Jam will have volume 2 !!

原本一早就写的
结果拖到现在
距离现在 Funk Jam 已过了一个星期
真快~


还记得拜五傍晚一放工
我就从怡保搭巴士下金宝
找阿罗练习练习
顺便看下那边的"夜生活", 哈哈
拜六早上又搭巴士到 KL
到 Bukit Jalil 差不多快中午12点了
在 SS2 的 MyHome Hotel Check In 之后
我们准备坐 Taxi 去 Kompleks Rakan Muda Bukit Kiara
没想到这地方不容易去
害我们兜来兜去
约2.30PM到那边
看到 Kar Kheng & Raydio 的 Dancers 已在那边了
其实有预料过是个滑板场
没想到是真的
感觉还蛮不错


差不多 5.30PM 了
过了2个Locking Workshop
终于到了 Raymond & Robin 的 Popping Workshop
这次学到很多东西 : Shift Way, Swing, Stop, Change Level 等..
对我而言
这些都是我缺少的, 需加强的
期间我们也问了一些关于 Roll, Groove, Feel 的问题
呵呵, 谢谢你们的解释 ^ ^

不知不觉
睡下睡下
第二天差不多11点我们才醒来
吃了东西之后又出发了
首先看到的是 Raydio 的 Dancers
他们都很早到
接下来是来自新加坡的Lockers
在练习 Routine 中
来自台湾的Aga老师也特地来支持 : D
今天前来参与的人比 Workshop 时多
于是 GanJiong 的心情又隐约浮现了, Haha


Locking Audition 之后
是时候到Popping的抽签
没想到我那么 Lucky
一抽就抽到 No.1
确定之后原来是对到 Fenny & Wai Lun

说真的, 这次的表现的确一半一半
我个人认为
好, 是自己比较放
坏, 先前练的Walk Out, Flex 似乎还没变成我的本能动作
虽然输了
不过我们还是得到很多的指导
唯有再接再厉, 继续练习


这次的 Event 我本人的确很 Enjoy
Popping Battle 的时候
Locking 也是 ( 虽然不能全懂啦, haha )
相信马来西亚的 Funk Style 会越来越好
也期待 Funk Jam 会有 Volume 2 XD
